SCSC - TH has been the new wear-resistant materials to produce the liners of hydrocyclones.
The properties of Silicon carbide sintered products include strong hardness, high strength and high thermostability. However, such kind of products have disadvantages, such as poor toughness, fragility and so on. In order to adapt to the working conditions of hydrocyclone, it needs to be further improved. Zhongpeng has improved its process, developed and introduced a new wear-resistant material suitable for heavy medium cyclone which is called wear-resistant SCSC - TH. It is a new crystalline material synthesized by adding trace elements in the process of sintering silicon carbide and being sintered and reacted in high temperature. Its main chemical structural components are SiC, C, Mo, etc. Binary or multivariate hexagonal compound structure is formed in high temperature environment. therefore, this product has super hardness, high strength, self-lubricating (low friction), anti-adhesion, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.

Under the same conditions, the comparison of properties between SCSC - TH and high alumina ceramics is shown in Table 3.

The service life of heavy medium system cyclone and supporting wear-resistant pipeline made of SCSC - TH is 3 ~ 5 times that of Ai2O3 and more than 10 times that of wear-resistant alloy. The lining made of SCSC - TH can increase the recovery of clean coal by more than 1%. The service life comparison of Ai2O3 and SCSC - TH is as follows:
